this ain’t deep, just illustration.
themes and styles change every year, and this year, i was heavily in the worlds of business, science, and...animals(?).
also, color, always color. i love color.
in 2024, warm purples, bright oranges, and pinkish corals kept creeping to the top of my palette. why was this? what does this say about me psychologically? emotionally?!!?
well, i did as little research as possible. click through to see some of these visual connections, but really, just some of my favorite illustrations from the year that was.

mysterious, noble, glamorous
whelp, this represents about zero percent of me. i guess i just like the color.
coral
soft, reserved, earthy
hmm, soft, but mostly from the holiday cookies.
orange
warmth, kindness, joy
at least this one tracks. that said, firey-orange...PASSION! EXCITEMENT! STANDING TOoOooo CLOSE!
animals
not a color.
just go with it.
