we’re a couple of days early, but in honor of the great snowpocalypse/snowmageddon which dumped feet(!?) of snow on the east coast this weekend, winter seemingly has already arrived.

squirrels and birds love themselves some snow. happy winter, holiday and new year!

nothing like a mug of hot cocoa and marshmallows* on a cold day. full disclosure, it’s not terribly cold at the moment, but it’s been looking like it’s going to be a cold and snowy winter this year. happy winter everyone!
*note to petm (people for the ethical treatment of marshmallows): these lil’ guys are happily and willingly plunging to their deaths in a vat of rich, chocolatey, and delicious, hot cocoa.

while actually a week away, i still would like to wish everyone a happy winter. if you live in the new york area and have stepped outside today (or yesterday for that matter), you’ve noticed that it’s cold. damn cold. 22 degrees cold. i love it. put on your scarves, gloves, and hats, and don’t forget to drink plenty of hot chocolate.

happy winter. it’s cold out there, be sure to wear a hat, and to drink lots of hot chocolate.
