some sketches, some photos, and some bears from ao’s and my catskillian vacation. (frankie too!)

this little preview of summer on the east coast has me thinking of bbqs, outdoors, and not working (hence, blogifficating!). time to start dusting off those nerdbqs and grilling up whatever you like. do it. now. it’s almost lunch time on a tuesday.

hey all. it’s that time of year again, birthday bbq with kickball, kubb, food, drink and hopefully YOU! bring yourself, bring your frends, feel free to add to the food/drink supplies, and as always . . . there will be bacon.
we’ll be there early, and leave when it gets too dark to kubb.

thank you to everyone who came out to prospect park to celebrate kandle’s and my birthdays. we had a great time. thanks tobias for your documentarian skills. if anyone has photos, i would love to see them.
also, much love to silver for making an old man with a faulty memory’s dreams come true.

oh how that dragon mocked us…”look how high i am in the sky! come and get me!”

yup, this is pretty much how the middle and end of the bbq looked to most of us. note: this photo is not turned sideways, prospect park was actually at an angle on saturday, hence silver’s inability to stand.

piñata number 1 made a lovely top hat (thanks sb!). considering ao and i still seem to be on our feet, this must have been early in the bbq.
