i am editing a new illustration blog called fuel your illustration. it’s going to have illustrator profiles, studio pet profiles, and much more. for example, something that has always fascinated me, are illustrators’ supplies (i have always been fond of art stores, hardware stores, and office supply stores). i love seeing how people work and what they work with. what’s my most favorite drawing supply, the pilot precise v7. V7-4-LIFE! (now i just need a car for the vanity plate)
btw, if you are interested in contributing or have suggestions, a portfolio update, excellent new work, whatever, leave a comment or email me.

my nightstand agreed to pose for this drawing.

it’s been a while, but illustrator breakfast again met up at the greenpoint coffee shop. i managed to get a little bit of drawing in before the gang arrived. still figuring out that pattern stamp.

it’s been a few weeks, but time for some fresh coffee shop sketching. midway through this drawing a guy on the street had a seizure. fortunately, the paramedics arrived, took care of him, and apart from looking a bit dazed he seemed okay. this little story in no way has anything to do with this drawing.
