slate: trailhead

trailhead is a new campaign blog by slate, and with the current melee of democrats and republicans involved, i liked the idea of a blogger sitting on a heap of donkey and elephant for the illustration. to make the image read clearly, slate requested stars and stripes on the animals, which turned out fairly well.
